Arctic Circle
The Arctic Circle has a diverse and challenging nature and it is not uncommon to have all four seasons in one day. Also known as the Land of the Midnight Sun due to the sun never setting in the summer months.
The Arctic Circle incorporates a variety of countries to visit including :- Greenland, Russia, Canada, Alaska, Norway and Spitsbergen.
Best times to vist are generally June - August as the extreme cold during the winter months can be difficult for even the seasoned traveller.
For the more active cruiser there are some great excursions here including Barents Sea Diving, Dog Sledding and Snow Mobiling to name but a few.
If you are really lucky you may even spot the odd Polar Bear or two.
